BioI am a retired boat captain. In a previous incarnation I was a librarian. My interest in books & helping people find information continues. I lived on a river in South Alabama until Hurricane Katrina destroyed the house. Since then, my life has changed totally. The man I was engaged to marry in 1956 came back into my life, and we married, only fifty years late! Life is good. Since then, we split the year between Alabama and Massachusetts, where he has a house. We are working on both houses and both gardens, which keeps us occupied all day long.
